Akita Specialty Show in Hyvinkää September 30th 2007
The American Akita Specialty Show was held on Sunday
September 30th 2007 in Hyvinkää. At this years
Specialty Show there were all together 47 American Akitas shown, 52 American
Akitas were signed up. The judge was Mr. Juha Putkonen from Finland. He also awarded dogs for best
head,
best tail and best paws. Results are now available on our website. You can find
photos of the show in the clubs forum
under column "Kuvia"; topic "Erkkari".

Our clubs first tracking test was
held in Hauho May 6th 2007. There were 12 dogs taking part, five of which were
American Akitas. Seven dogs got an approved result.

Club of Germany 30 years on April 13th 2007
Akita Club of Germany celebrates
their 30 years birthday with two shows on April 14th-15th 2007 in Erfurt,
Germany. On April 14th judge Elina Tan-Hietalahti from Finland will be giving
out CACs and on April 15th judge Angelika Kammerscheid-Lammers from Germany
